What
does "Enable Security Code Protection" mean? |
 |
When
configuring your form at Allforms, you will have the option to
"Enable Security Code Protection" for your form (to
prevent abuse of your form or spam.) If you select
"Yes", before being allowed to submit their message,
your visitors will be taken to a page at Allforms where they will
be asked to retype a security code as it appears in an image on
the page. Also, occasionally your visitors may see the security
page whether or not you selected the Security Code option. This
will occur if a pattern of frequent form submissions is detected
that causes concern that your form is being abused or used for
spam. There IS one way you can avoid your visitors being taken to
Allforms security page, and that is to add the security code
feature directly to your form. A dynamic image will appear
displaying a code that you visitor will need to retype in your
form before submitting. Here's the string to add to your
form, preferably near the bottom just before the submit button:
<img
src="http://a.mailjol.net/?a=antispam&i=afm">
<br>Retype the above security code
here: <input type="text"
name="antispamcode" size="10"> |
NOTE: Copy the above code and paste into
Wordpad or Notepad first, and then copy from there and paste into
your page. If you skip this step, you will pick up font formatting
tags and other unnecessary characters that will break your form.
