Free Online Automatic
Search Engine Submission
FAQ
How
Effective Is This Tool? This free automated submission tool will work fine if you
do not have the time right now to manually submit to all of the search
engines individually. However, since I am
sincerely interested in helping my visitors achieve the best results
possible, I would highly recommend manual submission, as it offers more of a guarantee that your site will be listed.
Manual submission means submitting your website directly to each search engine
yourself via their own AddURL page. If you would like to manually submit, I've done all the footwork for
you and compiled a list of direct links to the
Add URL pages for the search
engines that allow you to submit your site free: Click
Here As the
above auto-submit tool does not submit your website to all of the search
engines on the net, it is recommended that you at least browse the Add URL list and
manually submit to those that are not listed above.
How
Does It Work?
Your website URL will be automatically submitted to all of the search engines listed
above. The robots for each search engine will
then visit your
site, crawl it, and determine whether to list it.
How
Will I Know if I've Been Listed?
You should wait two to four weeks and then check to see if your site
has been listed. Feel free to use my free online
Check Listing tool for this purpose.
Is
my search engine listing guaranteed? No. It is not guaranteed
that your site will be listed. Search engines use certain
criteria when deciding whether to include a website in their
index. This criteria (also called algorithms) is a set of
defined steps and rules which they follow to assess the value of
the information contained on your website to the general public. As an example,
Google provides an explanation of their algorithms
here.
To increase your chances of being listed, you should optimize
your website for the search engines. I have some tips for
how to do this
here.
QUICK TIPS
1. Frequently update your pages. A frequently updated website is
of greater value to the general public in the eyes of the search
engines, because it means the information is more current.
2. You should resubmit
your site only if it has not
yet been listed in a particular search engine you had already
submitted to at least four weeks prior.
